TRC Knives Apocalypse is a tool created for do-or-die situations. Designed with extreme survival in mind, it is a universal and reliable choice for the most demanding outdoor tasks.
Thanks to its large size, the knife can easily replace an axe for batoning wood or a machete for clearing terrain when setting up camp.
Apocalypse Convex – A Knife for Extreme Conditions
This version features a convex grind on a premium Elmax steel blade. The convex grind is labor-intensive and time-consuming, taking almost as long to make as five flat grinds on the standard Apocalypse model. Nevertheless, out of respect for fans requesting this grind type, TRC occasionally releases limited runs in this configuration.
The convex profile provides exceptional edge strength, making it ideal for demanding outdoor work such as cutting, batoning, and chopping.
TRC Knives – A Lithuanian Workshop of Global Renown
The brand TRC Knives was founded by knifemaker Andrius Tricius. Located in Ukmerge, Lithuania, the workshop combines long-standing experience with precise craftsmanship. Each knife goes through multiple stages of hand finishing, and the entire production process is carefully supervised by skilled specialists.
Production is limited, and quality remains the brand’s highest priority. The TRC range includes survival, bushcraft, outdoor, EDC, and tactical knives — all made from the finest materials and finished to the highest standards.
Apocalypse – A True Survival Companion
Premium Steel for Outstanding Cutting Performance
This knife is crafted from a single piece of Elmax steel sourced from European UDDEHOLM group foundries. Elmax blades are known for their long-lasting sharpness, corrosion resistance, and exceptional durability, offering high wear resistance and impressive toughness.
The Apocalypse features a full tang construction, meaning the steel extends through the entire handle length and width — the most durable structure used in fixed-blade knives.
Versatile Construction for Multi-Purpose Use
The 6.5 mm thick drop point blade is fully suited for heavy-duty fieldwork. The Apocalypse excels at batoning wood, clearing brush, food preparation, or camp construction.
Despite its size, the knife remains well-balanced and easy to handle. Jimping on the spine supports the thumb for controlled cuts, while the guard prevents the hand from sliding forward. The rounded handle spine improves comfort and control, and the extended tang at the butt can serve as a hammer or glass breaker.
Durable G10 Handle
The handle scales are made of G10 — a fiberglass and epoxy laminate highly resistant to moisture, temperature changes, chemicals, and mechanical impact. This material ensures a secure, non-slip grip, while the ergonomic shape provides comfort during prolonged use.
The handle is fastened with through pins, allowing for the attachment of a lanyard or paracord wrap, which helps prevent dropping the knife and facilitates drawing it from the sheath.
Kydex Sheath – Safety and Durability
The knife comes with a hand-shaped Kydex sheath, fitted with a heavy-duty nylon belt loop. This setup provides flexibility and comfort — the sheath moves naturally with the body, without pressure or restriction.
A thumb ramp allows for safe and controlled knife extraction. The sheath includes pass-through rivets, which can be used to attach accessories such as the included ferro rod holder, or to mount the sheath to a backpack, harness, or MOLLE system.
Kydex is a durable material resistant to impacts, moisture, and harsh weather, making it an excellent choice for outdoor knives.
